Ray Barrett is an executive coach and therapist who helps clients become their best selves through: self-discovery; alignment; overcoming resistance; developing a clear mission and vision; learning how to manage themselves; and creating great relationships.  

His clients quickly go from being overwhelmed to having clarity, balance and success.

Ray holds Masters degrees in Economics, Finance, Divinity, and Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Georgia and North Carolina.

Prior to creating Life’s Canvas in 2007, Ray spent 4 years in hospital chaplaincy, assisting in training chaplains, and  learning about adult education, systems theory and pastoral care.  For 3 years, he has helped clients transition into new jobs/careers. Since creating Life’s Canvas, Ray has helped  startup businesses create their own success, many individuals and families heal, offered a range of training programs and seminars, corporate retreats, and audio training products.

Ray is the developer of: a comprehensive therapeutic and coaching model titled “Captain of Your Ship Training Program”; a leadership training program titled “Living as a Leader”; a sales training course; and a communication training program.  He is also the author of “The Psychology of Sales For The Professional”.

Ray is an expert at business effectiveness, the manifestation process, communication, systems theory, and the psychology of business.

Ray’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife and three children, visiting extended family, and hiking outdoors.
